Lawns that survive
a Cork winter.
New lawns from seed or turf, full restoration of mossy or thinning lawns, and seasonal treatment programmes built for the Irish climate.

A lawn in Cork has to deal with mossy, acidic soil, six months of soft ground, and a summer that's never quite hot enough to dry out a thatch problem on its own. Most tired lawns are not beyond saving — they're under-fed, over-mossy and rarely scarified. The work is straightforward, but the timing matters.
Four stages, all
on a written plan.
01
Assessment
We come and look. We don't quote a treatment programme blind. The lawn's compaction, thatch depth, weed and moss levels, and the level of light and wear it gets all change what we'd recommend. A mossy lawn in a north-facing Glanmire garden needs a different programme to a thinning lawn in a sun-baked Douglas plot.
02
Treatment plan
We give you a written plan for the season. Spring scarification and feed; mid-season weed and feed; autumn aeration and overseed where needed. Each visit's purpose is documented, so you can see what the lawn is getting and why.
03
Application or cut
Granular feed is applied with a calibrated spreader — not handfuls. Liquid weedkillers are applied at proper rates and only where they're needed; the rest of the lawn isn't drenched in chemicals it doesn't want. For maintenance customers, we cut, edge and clear in the same visit so the lawn is finished before we leave.
04
Follow-up scheduling
We do not disappear after the first application. The follow-up visit at four to six weeks checks how the lawn is responding, addresses bare patches with overseed, and adjusts the rest of the plan. A lawn responds slowly; we adjust accordingly.
Per visit,
or per season.
New lawn from €15–€25 per m² · Maintenance from €40 per visit
New-lawn pricing depends on whether you need full topsoil, ground prep, seed or turf. Ongoing maintenance starts from €40 per visit for small front lawns and scales with size and frequency. A full annual treatment programme for a typical 100–200m² back lawn is normally €350–€650 across the year. We quote each lawn individually and put it in writing.

Programmes for Irish conditions
What works on a county Wexford lawn does not always work on a wetter, more acidic Cork lawn. Our programmes are calibrated for what's actually here.
Professional scarifiers and aerators
Domestic rakes do not lift years of thatch; consumer-grade hollow-tine forks do not aerate compaction. We bring proper kit and use it properly.
Targeted, not blanket spraying
Selective herbicide on the weeds that need it, no blanket spraying, and chemical-free options where the situation allows.
Lawns assessed individually
No two lawns get the same treatment, even on the same street. Soil acidity, light levels, foot traffic and drainage all change what is needed.
We treat lawns regularly across Douglas, Ballincollig and Glanmire, and out into the surrounding villages. For larger acreage lawns or formal rural plots we travel further within the county. See all areas we cover.
