Douglas

Douglas is one of Cork's longest-established southside addresses — the Douglas Road, the village core, and the older estates running off it.

Ballincollig

Ballincollig has changed faster than almost any Cork suburb in the past two decades.

Carrigaline

Carrigaline is two places — the established town with its village core, and the rural fringe stretching south toward Crosshaven and west toward Ballygarvan.

Glanmire

Glanmire is the northside that doesn't read as the northside — it's a gentle bowl of a suburb tucked into the lower Lee Valley, with sloping properties, mature trees, and houses strung out along the river road toward Riverstown.

Cobh

Cobh is a coastal town with a personality of its own — Great Island sits outside the harbour, the streets in the centre cling to the slope above the waterfront, and the upper roads run along the elevated headland with views straight across to Spike Island and out toward Roches Point.

Midleton is two markets in one.

Mayfield

Mayfield is one of the older established suburbs on the northside of Cork city — a working family neighbourhood that has grown steadily since the 1950s and 60s.

Blackrock

Blackrock is one of Cork's most established southside addresses — a coastal village in its own right, with Victorian and Edwardian houses lining the upper roads, period terraces close to the church, and newer apartment developments toward Mahon Point.
