Garden design from
concept to build.
Full landscape design for Cork homes — layout, planting, hardscape, drainage and lighting drawn together as one piece. Designed and built by the same crew.

A garden in Cork has to do a lot of work. It needs to read well from inside the kitchen on a wet Tuesday in February, hold up to children and dogs through a long summer, and still feel composed when the herbaceous borders die back. Designing for that is what we do — laying out the bones of a garden so the planting, paving, levels and lighting all carry their own weight, and the whole thing settles in over the years rather than ageing out of style.
Four stages, one
considered garden.
01
On-site consultation, free
We walk the site with you. We look at how the sun moves, where the wind comes from, what the soil's like at the back of the border versus the patio side. We talk about how you actually use the space — where the morning coffee goes, where the kids play, where you'd want to read in the evening. There's no charge for this visit and no pressure on what comes after.
02
Concept design and mood-board
You get a written brief back, plus a mood-board pulling together the materials, plant palette and broader feel of the design. This stage is where we settle the bigger decisions — formal or loose, sun terrace or shade canopy, lawn or no lawn — before any drawings are committed to. It usually takes a week or two and is included in the design fee.
03
Detailed plan
The full design pack includes a scaled layout, planting schedule with species and quantities, hardscape detailing for paving and walls, drainage falls, lighting positions, and irrigation runs if needed. Anyone could take the pack and build the garden — but we'd rather build it ourselves so we can adjust as the site reveals itself.
04
Build phase
Our own crew handles the build. We don't sub-contract. The same people who walked the garden with you are the ones digging the foundations, laying the slabs and setting the plants. Most full transformations run four to eight weeks; we give you a programme upfront and stick to it within reasonable weather allowances.
Honest numbers,
no surprises.
Design from €2,500 · Full build typically €8,000–€30,000+
Design fees cover our time on the drawings, planting research and supplier work, and are credited against the build invoice if you go on to build with us. The build range is wide because gardens are: a courtyard refresh sits at one end, a full level-changed family garden with terraces, lighting and mature planting sits at the other. Every quote is itemised, fixed in writing, and given without a deposit. Free no-obligation site visit.
The reasons it
lasts.
15+ years of Cork gardens
We've built across the city and county since 2008 — courtyards in the centre, lawns in Ballincollig and Douglas, country plots beyond Glanmire. We know what holds up here.
In-house build team
We design and build with the same crew. Nothing is sub-contracted. If you ask the person who drew the plan a question about a wall detail, you get a real answer.
Planting suited to the climate
Plant choices come from years of watching what survives a wet Cork winter and a dry June. We won't sell you something that looks good in a brochure and dies in two seasons.
Insured and tax-cleared
Public liability insurance, full tax compliance and clean documentation on every job. Whatever paperwork your situation needs — a property sale, an insurance claim, a planning file — we have it.
We design and build gardens across Cork city and county. Douglas, Ballincollig, Glanmire and Carrigaline are on our regular routes, with frequent work also in the city itself and across the eastern harbour. For larger or estate-scale projects we travel further within the county. See all areas we cover.
