Founded in 2008 by Gordon, Hillview Landscapes started small — out of a yard in Old Mayfield with a single van, a wheelbarrow, and a list of patio jobs handed down from people who knew his work. The first year was small jobs around the northside, the kind of work that gets done well or it doesn't get done again.

Word travelled. Patios led to lawns, lawns led to fencing, and within a few years we were getting calls for full garden transformations rather than single-day fixes. We brought on a second pair of hands, then a third, and grew the team slowly — only ever taking on people who could be trusted to do the work the way Gordon would do it himself.

Today we're a Cork-based crew handling everything from compact urban courtyards to country estate work, with bespoke garden design carried through to in-house build. The mix has changed; the standard hasn't. The same person who walks your garden at the consultation is the person planning the build, on site for the foundations, and back for the handover walk-through.

We don't subcontract. We don't take deposits before quoting. We don't quote what we can't deliver. That's the whole pitch — and after fifteen years it's still the reason most of our work comes by referral.
